Here’s how our process works:
1. Complimentary Consultation
Let’s get to know each other!
This is our opportunity to connect and get to know more about you
and your boudoir vision,
as well as answer any questions you may have.
2. Your Boudoir Session
This day is all about YOU!
Starting with professional hair and makeup, you’ll be the star from the moment you arrive.
We’ll guide you through the whole process - making you look your best is what we do! You’ll leave our studio with head high, a bright smile and a sassy sway in your walk.
3. The Reveal
“I didn’t know I could look like that!”
Within two weeks of your shoot we’ll invite you to our studio for a private viewing of your photos.
Together we’ll review all of your stunning images and select your favourites, along with any artwork that you want to showcase your gorgeous images with.
You’ll be able to choose from a variety of collections as well as a la carte options.

Do I need to know how to pose for boudoir photography?
Definitely not! We will be guiding you every step of the way, not to worry. This is one of the most asked about questions, you do not need to know any posing, we got you! AND you will feel like a super model when you leave us!
Does the boudoir experience come with Professional hair and makeup?
Hair and makeup services come with all of our boudoir sessions.
Your time in the makeup chair is when you get to relax and get pampered. It's an important part of our service.
Will you post my boudoir photographs online?
Our clients mean the most to us and we only post images that we have been given permission. At Lux Boudoir we believe your privacy is super important, and therefore we only share photographs that you ok with us.

Who we are
Lux Boudoir started as a desire to help women find their strength and to break out of their shells. From this, the premier Vancouver Boudoir Studio was born.
Established in 2008, Lux Boudoir is a creative team of women led by award winning photographer and entrepreneur Kari Heese.
Located in the Waterfall Building, just outside of Granville Island, Lux Boudoir provides a gorgeous loft studio that is the perfect backdrop for a Boudoir photoshoot.
Together, the Lux Ladies are committed to providing a unique and empowering boudoir photography experience that will help women see themselves as the beautiful and powerful beings they are.
